What is Aquagold® Fine Touch™?
Aquagold® Fine Touch™ is a new microchanneling treatment to improve the appearance of the skin with minimal to no down time. Aquagold is a microneedle device that contains 24 hollow gold karat needles. This device delivers products such as platelet-rich-plasma (PRP), nanofat, dermal fillers, neurotoxins, and vitamins directly into the skin.
Depending on the patient’s concerns and desired results, we are able to fully customize a solution to be applied with the microchannel device. Applying anti-aging products directly under the skin allows them to be absorbed much more effectively because these products do not have to find a way around the natural protective barrier of the skin. For example:
- Botox, Xeomin® or Dysport® in small levels at the surface of the skin, improves the size of the pores, and decreases redness. The neurotoxins provide a natural, gentle smoothing of the skin.
- The hyaluronic acids, such as Restylane products, can hold up to 1000 times its weight in water to bring intense hydration to the skin and increase the skins suppleness.
- PRP & Nanofat- Stem cell regenerative power.
Another added benefit is the procedure is virtually pain free. The skin of the face is cleansed, and the chosen products are placed in the sterile tube of the Aquagold device. It is then pressed into the skin in an overlapping pattern. The solution is delivered into the skin creating a soft, natural-looking result, leaving the face looking smoother, tighter, and rejuvenated. After the treatment we ask that patients do not wash their face for 4 hours. After the 4-hour time frame, patients should begin washing their face and using gentle skincare products. We ask that patients wait at least 24 hours before applying any makeup.
