This device is a fractional radio frequency (RF) Microneedling system designed to stimulate and remodel collagen. The Secret can deliver radio frequency energy to various depths. Due to its adjustable needle length, this gives our practice the ability to treat the face and body. It is ideally suited for patients who wish to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, pore size, stretch marks and skin laxity.

Secret™ RF Microneedling uses ultrafine needles that gently puncture your skin and deliver RF energy. The radio frequency gently heats the skin and stimulates new collagen and elastin formation. Microneedling is a procedure that uses a pen like device that delivers needles to penetrate the skin causing micro injuries that stimulate the body’s natural healing response. This process stimulates collagen and leads to improved skin texture, pore size and softer appearing acne scars. Microneedling with RF combines Microneedling with radio frequency energy to amplify the results. Microneedles are inserted into the skin and heat is delivered between the needles. Both treatments require a series of treatments for the best results and can be used on multiple skin types.

After Microneedling with RF patients can experience redness, swelling and pinpoint bleeding. The treated skin should be kept clean and not washed until the following day. The skin treated could feel slightly rough with an almost sandpaper like texture for 2-5 days. Patients should avoid wearing makeup, entering saunas or hot tubs, and exercising for 24 hours after treatment.
Patients may see a response from the treatment as early as 6-8 weeks, however final results will be seen 3-6 months after the treatment and can last upwards of 1-2 years after an appropriate amount of sessions.
